TONE YOUR LEGS AND BOOTY WORKOUT | MissFits NUTRITION

Fitness and workout routines have been something I have been into for a couple of years now and am still loving. I started off with a personal trainer and then moved onto proceed my fitness journey by myself and it is fair to say that like most things in life it has been a learning process. Over the years I have learnt that cardio on its own will not help you achieve the results you may be looking for. I have been doing a mixture of cardio, weight training and spinning classes to help me achieve the body I want , it was when I started introducing weight training that I saw my body changing in a positive way.

Of course with Fitness comes nutrition , it is vital that you are consistent not only in the exercise sector but are also incorporating proper nutrition in your everyday lifestyle. In order for your muscles to repair and grow protein is essential and advised to consume after a workout, now the question that is mostly common ... What Protein Powder should I take? There are so many supplements brands out there it can be overwhelming to find one you feel works best for you. Today I have collaborated with Miss Fits Nutrition to introduce you to a lean pea protein that MissFitssNutrution call THE MULTITASKER, it provides your body with the protein but also the nutrition it needs to repair your muscles, this product is all natural , gluten free , dairy free , Vegan and has no sugar or hidden nasty products within it.

How to take it? Simply shake it up with water, milk or make a smoothie. I personally love to mix mine with either just water or almond milk if I am consuming it straight after my work out , however mix in bananas , natural cocopowder , peanut butter with the chocolate protein powder and you'll be left with a chocolate peanut butter milkshake! YUM!!

Just Roll With It

Just roll with it..  I haven't really done any personal posts nevertheless it felt right to sit down , write this and almost vent out..

It's easy to forget how fortunate we really are at times, and get stuck in our own bubble where we have almost this negative mindset we occasionally get stuck in and possibly even feel a little trapped in. The last couple of months have felt like a bit of a rollercoaster for me , whilst I wont go  into too much detail , it has made me realise how fortunate I am to have the people in my life that have supported me and kept me sane over that period.

Life isn't always what we expect it but as the saying says Life's problems wouldn't be called hurdles if there wasn't a way to overcome them. Despite everything I am glad how things have turned out as I feel like this has opened new doors for me and lots of new opportunities to focus on and put my energy into.

Over the last few months I have also had some truly amazing people enter my life who I am very appreciative of feel lucky to have met.

Amongst everyone who has been there for me, this girl is someone I can not imagine my life without, over the many years of friendship its never a dull moment when we're together. Thee are some people that make you laugh a little harder , smile a little bigger and live a little better and thats what she always does.

Yesterday myself and two of my friends decided to have a day out in London , having people who you can relate to and have a great time with is one of the best remedies when you're not feeling a hundred percent and feel like you just need to breathe and take a step back.

We went to a place called Lanes in Oxford Street, what a beautiful spot. I have never been there before but I loved the atmosphere that this bar offers, the interior is very pretty and the service is outstanding and very welcoming. Perfect spot for a Sunday afternoon.

PRETTYFIT PROTEIN

With the Festive season over it is time to get back on track with our fitness routines and with that comes the right nutrition. A few weeks back I was kindly sent The Pretty Fit protein for me to try out and test. Pretty Fit is an online monthly subscription where each month you receive a box of fitness goodies, supplements , healthy snacks etc. Which personally I think is a great concept as receiving one of those a month is defiantly one way to keep yourself motivated to keep going and not give up.
Protein is an essential part of your diet especially if you train on regular basis now I'm no expert but  I know it aids your muscle repair  growth and development. Being someone who loves fitness I have been using protein shakes for a while now however I am always on the look out for new products to help me achieve my goals. So I was very excited to try out the Pretty Fit Protein what really caught my attention is how natural their products are and the fact they are gluten free as  I find gluten can upset my stomach unfortunately.
The Quality of the Product? Think it is fair to say the quality of the Im Pretty Fit Protein is very high! Each serving contains 25 grams of whey isolate which is sugar free and sweetened with stevia, no GMO, gluten free and at 100 calories per pack this is a great product for anyone looking to loose a bit of that christmas weight which a lot of us are currently carrying ( but with a little hard work and clean eating it shall soon be gone ;) )
As it is gluten free  and contains digestive enzyme it is safe for any of you like myself who have sensitive stomachs . With the ingredients being natural the flavours are quiet limited there is chocolate and vanilla however I think both of them taste great (speaking from experience here) so personally I think the two flavours are just fine. The product comes in packets which is great as its already portioned out for you and makes it easy to take it with you on the go.
Overall  I am really enjoying using this protein at the moment and would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a natural ingredient based protein powder. Check them out here .
Whats your favourite protein powder to use?

Greece Zakynthos 2015 & A little life Update

It has been a good few months since I've sat down and written a post , I've been meaning to do it for a while but with a new job, and honestly a little lack of motivation I felt like I have slightly neglected this little space of mine but after a break and a little time to think I am back on the blogging mode and really want to fully commit to it. I have so many lovely product reviews to share with you, a few fitness posts and new outfit posts to come too ,  so I am very  much looking forward to sharing it all with you all.

Over the last few weeks I have started training now if you have followed me for a while you know I've been attending the gym for a decent amount of time but never really fully committed to the healthy diet lifestyle now that's not to say I am on some crazy diet as I know from experience these don't work long time , but more on that to come soon when I do my current fitness routine.

You may have also noticed a slight change in my hair..  yep I went back to being a blondish colour , I was blonde for a while then decided to go dark but felt like I was really missing the light locks so here I am back on the blonde side.

Last week I went on holiday to Greece, Zakynthos with one of my best friends and had the best time , met some great people, took some time to relax and re-think and catched some rays which was lovely considering we don't get much sun in the UK.

That's my little update for now , I will be posting regularly as of now and am looking forward to reading  your blogs too. I hope your all having a lovely summer. xo

BIRTHDAY WEEKEND | CELEBRATIONS | TURNING 23 | LITTLE REFLECTION

Hello Beauties , so this weekend sure was a special one for me as I celebrated my Birthday which was actually officialy yesterday ( I turned 23 yiiikess) but the celebrations began last Thursday with a family dinner at Chiquitos which was absolutely amazing, not only was the mexican food so so good it was lovely spending time with my family and just having an evening with them of chilling, dinning and having a cheeky glass of vino or two! At the weekend myself and a few of my closest friends celebrated together in London , we went for a night out to DSTRCKT Club in Picadilly Circus and it was honestly an amazing night with amazing people, also a big thank you to DSTRCKT for having us and organising it all for us . On Sunday we went out for breakfast at Bill's which was divine , can you tell I'm a foodie? haha! Anyone that knows me is aware of how much I love dinning out so I was not complaining this weekend haha ! Yesterday on my actual Birthday I went out for a lovely lunch with one of my friends ! Yes more food was involved haha! In the evening I had family come over which once again lovely as we had a Birthday Cake and some champagne to celebrate a little more. I can honestly say I have had one of the Best Birthdays with amazing people and as cliche as it is I can honestly say that "It's the little moment's that make life big"!!

' BITCH PLEASE It'S MY BiRTHDaY!'

I still can't believe at how quickly the last few years have gone by, it seems like only yesterday I turned 20 and all of a sudden I have hit the 23 mark which is a little scary but I guess exciting at the same time.I am looking forward to the year ahead and really want to work hard towards my goals and have a great year of appreciating what I have and how lucky I am to have all the amazing people in my life that I do have. I think as we get older you start to realise sometimes we underestimate what we have and focus too much and what we would want to have. As good as it is to aim high and work towards your career, fitness and other goals sometimes its worth while taking a moment to appreciate how far you have already come.

FITNESS ROUTINE FOR 2015, PROTEIN POWDER & FAT BURNER

'' FIT IS NOT A DESTINATION IT IS A WAY OF LIFE'

It has been a while since I've done a fitness related post but with the Christmas Festive season its fair to say we all let ourselves go a little and indulge but once the New Year begins we are all in the ' Reset/ Fresh Start' mode and I am pretty sure just like myself many of you have set yourself a goal to lead a healthy lifestyle in 2015 for me I also would like to tone up more than loose weight as such so I have stocked up on some fitness supplements , fitness gear and am ready to kick some ass this year haha.  I have decided to try and test out some new supplements and protein powders to see which one's work best for me. I did some research over Christmas in preparation to my fitness journey and came across the two above seen in the photos.

First is the Phentramine -Rx50 which is essentially a Fat Burning product , this is a bit of a controversial product as a lot of people question whether these actually work or do more harm to your body. Personally I think its entirely up to you whether you want to include these as part of your routine but I would recommend doing a lot of research before trying any out like I have done with these ones. Having done my research these had very high ratings and great reviews, I have been using these for over two weeks now and so far have been very happy with them I will do a full review once I have finished using the product.   Phentramine Rx 50 can be bought on Desriablebody.co.uk , it was designed to help you work harder , tone up and tighten up your body as they claim, the product works by burning the excess fat cells and giving you a boost throughout our workout as it contains caffeine.

Next is protein now I have tried and tested many but am always on the look out for whats out there an have been doing more research to find one that is suitable for women and contains ingredients which are somewhat natural. Whilst doing my research I came across the Anyprotein.com which is a brand I have never heard or tried before but after doing a little browsing on their website I liked the sound of this particular protein powder AnyWhey Slim which is a weight loss formula that contains other beneficial ingredients such as Acai, Green Matcha Tea and many more antioxidant ingredients.  Although the flavour choices are pretty standard they taste great , I am currently using the Vanilla flavoured one , it works great in smoothies, mixed in with porridge or for protein pancakes . I will do  healthy protein recipe posts in the next few weeks to show you how you could use this not only in shakes but also for some great recipes.

In addition to all of that their protein is : GLUTEN FREE, SOY FREE, GM FREE, VEGETERIAN SUITABLE, HALAL SUITABLE, KOSHER SUITABLE

Whilst the supplements above have been helping me with achieving my toned body of course the main and most important part of this journey is an active lifestyle and making sure regular exercise is part of it. I have been  gym member for quiet a while now but recently I have written myself an exercise plan in order to make sure I am exercising the right muscle groups in the right order so that they have time to repair themselves. I use to be a treadmill and cardio addict but over the last few months I have introduced more weight work and less cardio to my routine and have honestly wished I've done that sooner it gives you amazing results much faster, it also makes sense as the more muscle you have in your body the more fat you burn so ladies it's time to start lifting.  If you would like me to do a post on my exercise routine and plan just let me know as I would be more than happy to do a post on this for you but also if you have any tips or recommendations do leave them in the comments below.

What are your fitness goals/ tips this year?
